ell when I was at Bethel in the late 1980's it was made clear to us that if we got hurt on the job that the Watchtower Society would assist us in paying any initial medical expenses but if there were long term problems that was our problem. thank you jeff. this could be a way to sue the wt big time. if a case comes up of a bethelite getting hurt on the job . and the wt not paying his long term medical cost . from a work related injury. this sounds stronger than any silent lambs case. based on the merit of his documented injuries. john

with out me looking it up. the wt claimed that jesus choose the wt or chucky russell. in 1878. as the fds. this teaching was still in effect till the late 1930-early 40's maybe 1943.

My Friend's JW Brother Died-------- To Go To KH Funeral Or Not???
by minimus ini've been grappling with going to my very good friend's brother's funeral in a nearby hall where everyone knows me.
if i go to the service it is only to show respect to my friend and the relatives (some are jws, some not).
my friend said that if i didn't go, he would understand but i'm torn.

if they are having a showing at a funeral home. i would go to that , and stay as long as you feel comfortable. all the jw's i know always go to the funeral home to pay respect for the dead. but will not go to the church ie catholic, baptist etc. for the service. the jw's will wait out side the church, then follow the everyone to the cematary for the burial. and if a priest says some words at the plot. the dub's will walk away again. . i would treat the jw's , the same way they would treat me if i died. john

I sing in a Barbershop Quartet. Any other singers ?
by rwagoner inmy favorite stress management tool (besides being goofy with my kids) is singing in a barbershop quartet.
just 4 voices...ringing harmonies....i know its old fashioned and sappy but i like it.. any other old..or young farts out there that sing barbershop....or other styles too?.
how does music and being able to express yourself with it effect your life?.

my girl friends daughter. started singing a few years ago. and out of no where. she got accepted into a special singing school. only 23 persons out of all new york city. went on one audition to some big time record manager. and is about a few months from getting a recording contract. in pop or r&b. i'm really surprised. and pulling for the young lady. i think she will be on the radio in early 2006. when it happens i will post her stage name. john

i'm sorry to say this. but these jw's got to work in the hospital. and they still screwed up based on wt pressure not to do the service. they deserve the jail time. even tho they have been brain washed. maybe someone can send these deluted jw's a copy of the may 1 96 wt that says it's ok to do civil service, instead of military. seems in some counrties were the wt can get away with the old light of no alternative serv. they will send the rank and file to jail. what should happen in these countries is that the elders etc. should be put in jail also for telling these kids to go awol. and then the leaders of the wts should be dragged into international court , for promoting this child abuse. and put on trail in an islamic court. i'm sure heads will roll... john
